Version 0.51 of SiTech telescope driver: Ok, finally, sorry it's taken so long! Many new features, the main one being telescope modeling (PointXP) by David Rowe. Before installation: 1. IMPORTANT: Run Regedit.exe (Start/Run/Regedit) Select File/Export In the file browser, underneath "Export Range", be sure to select "ALL" Now make a filename and save it! 2. Be sure you've got DotNet 1.1 installed. If not, go here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en 3. Be sure you have the ascom platform, 4.1 installed. If not go here: http://download.ascom-standards.org/ascom41.exe 4. Now, since you're reading this, you've probably already downloaded SiTechExe051.zip, and unzipped it to a folder somewhere, preferably in a folder by itself. There's 4 files including this file. If you are reading this in an email, then you have to download and unzip the zip file to a folder by itself: http://siderealtechnology.com/SiTechExe051.zip Now run Setup.exe. If you get a message that you need to uninstall a previous version then follow these steps: 1. Go to Control Panel, then select Add/Remove programs 2. Find SiTechInstaller, and uninstall it. If you get a message that it can't uninstall, then select ok, and follow these steps: 1. Run Regedit.exe (Start/Run/Regedit) 2. Select Edit/Find, and search for "SiTechInstaller" 3. Delete each instance of "SiTechInstaller" If it is the only item under a KEY, then delete the Key. If not, Delete just the item and value. Now try running Setup.exe again, should work.
